Honoring The Katukina Tribe
We are the USA partner company of Katukina.com and come from a lineage of ethnobotanical collectors and providers that has operated since 2000.
Our company name originates from the Katukina tribe, who inhabit the Amazonas and Acre region. Our founder, with his deep respect and connection to the Katukina people, was granted the honor and blessing to carry their name. This tribe is known for their connection with the Kambo frog and their traditional Hapé varieties. The Katukina carry a vast knowledge about plants, which they received from the spirit beings. In their view, every human being is driven by finding a balanced relationship with its distinct surrounding, including men, animals, and spirits.
We honor the Katukina tribe and support their efforts, along with the many other tribes and communities we work with, to help build the sacred bridge and unite the tribes in our mission to bring indigenous wisdom and plant technologies to the modern world.
The Spark
Our journey started with a deeply personal healing — a moment that showed the true power of the plants. From that experience came a simple vision: to share these medicines in their purest form, made with care and respect, so they can reach the people who need them most.
Our Commitment
We pledge to always deliver diverse and high-quality plant medicines, ensuring they journey swiftly and safely into the hands and lives of our community. We believe in the profound healing potential nestled within these sacred botanicals and are driven by the love of sharing their magic.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be an authentic source for hand-made ceremonial tools, textiles, artisan master crafted hapé and ethnobotanicals. We are adding kindling to a global movement of healing, love, and collective growth.
Our Community
Our community's strength and unity are our guiding stars. We're more than just a platform; we're a family interconnected by shared stories of rejuvenation and hope. Join us, and let's heal together, one heart, one spirit at a time.
The Path of Fair Exchange
Each medicina carries the prayers and skill of indigenous hands. We ensure every artisan receives fair trade compensation that truly values their time, expertise, and the sacred nature of their work. This economic justice forms the foundation of our partnerships, supporting tribal sovereignty and honoring ancestral craft traditions.
The Path of Direct Giving
We are part of initiatives in South America and the USA to protect traditions, regenerate lands, and protect the rights and freedom of sovereign people. We give back directly to the communities, tribes, and families we work. We purchase items they need to help them live better lives and give donations or gifts when starting partnerships.
Sponsorship
We recognize that healing shouldn't be a privilege but a universal right. Therefore, a core ethos of Katukina.us is to uplift those facing financial challenges. With proceeds from our endeavors, we're establishing scholarship programs, opening doors for those yearning to partake in life-altering plant medicine ceremonies, especially Ayahuasca.
