Product Update: Yawanawá Daime is now Caboclo Daime

We’re honored to reintroduce one of our most beloved Hapé blends, now offered under a new name: Caboclo Daime (formerly known as Yawanawá Daime).

This beautiful blend was born from a unique collaboration using ashes and ingredients from the Yawanawá territory and a local Caboclo artisan in the forest region of Rio Crôa. The work gradually evolved into an independent expression—one that reflects the lineage, land, and spiritual path of its creator.

Crafted by Jesse Nunes de Paula, a respected Caboclo artisan from Acre, Brazil, this blend carries the soul of the forest. Raised in a family rooted in ecological stewardship and community teaching, Jesse embodies the values of Daime discipline, traditional healing, and deep forest connection. His hapé preparations are guided by intuition and years of ceremonial experience.

We’re grateful to offer this blend under a name that honors its true origin. May it continue to serve with integrity, clarity, and connection.

Vibrational Essence:

  • Healing and Heart-Opening: Perfect for nurturing self-love and forgiveness.
  • Joyful and Uplifting: Brings a burst of natural happiness and spiritual bliss.
  • Delicately Feminine: Infused with sweet, floral notes that gently touch the soul.

Blend Profile: Immerse yourself in the emotional healing and spiritual awakening offered by our Daime Blend Hapé. Lovingly crafted by the Santo Daime community in Rio Crôa, Brazil, this cherished blend is formulated from a robust Sabia, enriched with Parika ashes and sacred ingredients from the Yawanawá.

Echoing the gentle hymns and lively dances of Santo Daime rituals, this blend is celebrated for its deeply euphoric effects and magical, floral sweetness. Ideal for both newcomers and seasoned users, its ultra-fine consistency ensures minimal product use for a gentle yet effective experience.

Perfect for deepening heart connections, personal reflection, or extensive spiritual practices, this hapé is a gentle guide to fostering forgiveness, joy, and a deeper spiritual connection.

About The Tribe

The Caboclo People & Spirit Lineage

The word Caboclo holds layered meaning in Brazil. It refers both to a people of mixed Indigenous and European ancestry, and to a powerful spiritual archetype within Afro-Brazilian traditions such as Umbanda and Candomblé. In both cases, the Caboclo represents resilience, healing, and deep relationship with the forest—embodying a living bridge between ancestral roots and modern life.

A Culture of Adaptation and Ancestral Memory

Caboclo communities emerged through centuries of encounter in the Amazon basin. Living along rivers, in small forest villages, or on the outskirts of towns, Caboclos navigate both traditional and modern worlds. Their lifeways reflect a mix of Indigenous knowledge, rural practicality, and spiritual devotion—rooted in the cycles of land and river, yet adaptable to shifting conditions.

Many sustain themselves through small-scale farming, fishing, and the gathering of forest medicines, while others carry their craftsmanship into modern settings. Whether weaving baskets, growing coffee, or creating tinctures, their work reflects a humble co-existence with nature.

Caboclos and the Medicine of Hapé

In the world of sacred plant medicines, Caboclo families have long served as caretakers and transmitters of knowledge—especially in times when Indigenous traditions were threatened or displaced. Through apprenticeship, kinship, and devotion, they learned to collect sacred ashes, cultivate Moi, and prepare Hapé in ceremonial ways.

Today, Caboclo artisans continue to share these medicines with reverence, helping Hapé reach those seeking authentic connection. Some blend traditional tribal recipes with more accessible ingredients, always with the understanding that the integrity of the medicine lies in the prayer, not just the name.

Their role is vital—and delicate—as they stand at the edge of tradition and commerce. The most sincere view their craft as a sacred offering, not a commodity.

In spiritual traditions like Umbanda, the Caboclo is more than a person—it is a spirit of the forest who speaks through mediums during ceremony. Strong, wise, and compassionate, the Caboclo spirit brings protection, guidance, and healing. Often offered Moi (rolled jungle tobacco) and honey, they are called upon to clear negative energy and reconnect us with the Earth’s breath.

In Candomblé, the Caboclo serves as a messenger of the Orixás, translating ancient wisdom into accessible forms. Their voice is the forest itself—reminding us to walk humbly, act with integrity, and honor the living Earth.

Symbol of the In-Between

The Caboclo—whether as person or spirit—embodies the space between worlds. They carry forward forest medicine, rural resilience, and ancestral knowledge while adapting to new contexts and needs. In the sacred act of preparing or serving Hapé, they remind us: healing is a relationship, not a product. The forest gives, and we give back through intention, prayer, and presence.
