Vibrational Essence:

  • Strengthening: Builds a deep sense of physical and energetic power.

  • Grounding: Anchors awareness firmly into the body after the initial surge.

  • Clearing: Breaks through stagnation with a sharp, decisive opening.

  • Calming: Settles into a clear, steady afterglow without disorientation.

  • Focus & Presence: Leaves the mind alert, centered, and composed.

Blend Profile: Kaxinawa Moi Cumaru Hapé is a striking example of how appearance can be deceiving. With its light sandy-brown color and soft, fine texture, it may seem gentle at first glance, but this blend carries formidable strength. Upon application, it delivers a piercing initial jolt that moves quickly through the system. Eye watering and strong phlegm production are common, yet the taste remains surprisingly pleasant as the experience unfolds.

As the intensity subsides, a powerful sense of bodily strength and stability emerges. This grounded force is paired with a calm, clear-headed afterglow that feels steady rather than overwhelming, making it a “dark horse” among Kaxinawa blends and a fast favorite for those who appreciate strength balanced with composure.

This hapé is crafted from Moi Rustica - one of the most prized Rustica varieties for its refined, sweet, and uplifting aroma - combined with ashes from the bark of the Cumaru tree (Dipteryx odorata). Moi heightens the senses while gently relaxing the nervous system, creating an aromatic experience that is both sensual and grounding. Cumaru, widely known as the Tonka bean tree, has a long history of use in forest preparations for its distinctive sweetness and robust energetic character. Together, these elements create a hapé that is powerful yet controlled, strong without excessive wobble, and deeply satisfying for experienced practitioners.

About Tribe

The Kaxinawa people, also known as the Huni kuin or "True Humans," are a prominent indigenous tribe in Acre state and Peru. They belong to the Pano linguistic tribes residing in the Brazilian and Peruvian Amazon regions, and comprise 42% of the indigenous population in Acre. Their name, "People of the Bat," was given to them by rival tribes. The tribe's leader is a highly respected shaman who advocates for his people through various organizations, including UNI/AC, ASKARJ, the Alliance of Forest Peoples, and the International Council on Human Rights.

Hapé, a traditional snuff made from different ingredients, is used by the Kaxinawa tribe for a variety of purposes. It can alleviate physical pain and sinus issues, as well as aid in mental healing when combined with chanting. Hapé is also believed to connect the tribe with the spirits of the jungle and has various effects, such as curing ailments, improving concentration, and enhancing hunting abilities.
